How much money can I deposit and withdraw from current account?

I wanted to know how much money can I deposit and withdraw at a time in a current account in ICICI bank or any other private bank? If I pay someone a big amount, say 50 lakh or 1 crore, through cheque, is there any sort of verification done by the bank or not? Will they contact me before cashing the cheque?|||I sure in the USA and here in Australia you can only deposit a maximum amount of $10,000 at a time, with any bank, any higher and the secret services (in the USA), or federal police (AUS) are informed and you would then have to prove that the money if yours. I am not sure on how much you can withdraw though.
