I have a savings account that I automatically transfer money to but I always end up transfering it back to my checking and spending it. I asked the bank if they have an acct that I could make deposits to but not withdraw from and they don't have anything like that. How can I save money without dipping into it all the time?|||open an ira account if you don't have one, you can't touch the money until you retire.
ask your bank to see if they have something call vacation accounts, it sort of like CDs, you can't withdraw until a certain date.
write a check every time you get pay to someone you trust and good with money, ask the person not to give your money back until when you really need it, the interest earn on the money or a portion of it can be a gift to that person.
open a safe deposit box in the bank and put the money in there, but you have to pay an annual fee for it.
have 0 exemptions on your paycheck so irs will take out extra tax then you'll get a big refund when you file tax
