Is there an easy way to deposit money directly into a bank account online?

My landlord uses US Bank, and I use Bank of America. He wants me to do this every month starting next month, and I'm trying to avoid having to withdraw cash and then bringing it to his bank every time.|||T J: Bill pay features of online banking can be used to send money to anyone anywhere, as long as you have a mailing address. The transfer option normally ONLY allows sending money to accounts in your name.|||I used to mail in my check to my landlords - I never hand delivered either to a bank or to a person.

Ask your bank for free checks- most accounts offer them.

Mail your check at least one week before the bill is due.

You can mail it to his bank by putting

"Please deposit in Mr. Smiths account, then put in the his checking account number.

Since you already have his account number this should be easy.

You'd be surprised how many people never step foot into a bank.

/|||I agree with Judy you need to mail your check. Never hand deliver a check and never give cash. You always need to have some kind of proof that you paid.|||You can do it with Bank of America online banking.

You will probably have to use the transfer feature if you are sending the money to an idividuals personal account. The bill pay features can be used to pay established businesses.
