when does it happen... ??? i mean they have to be responsible with decisions like that right?
the senario: say that you enroll at their school, accept the admission, send your deposit... and withdraw your admissions from the other schools you appled to when may 1st passes...
they can't withdraw the acceptance then right? i mean then you can't even go to college.....
so if a college decides to do this when will it be?
i have another question... i told my counsoler to send my transcripts on jan 24 and senior 1st semester ended on jan 18
thats 6 days but 2 of them are weekends... 1 was Martin L King day... BUT it was also a teachers work day so teachers had to go to school
my question is was 1st semester senior grades sent? i dont know how the process works does it take a while to process the grades to be compounded or does it take less time than i think?|||They could withdraw the acceptance if it was contingent upon achieving certain grades, completing certain classes, if your name was on a waiting list for admission or if there has been some major disciplinary event since your application. They would send a check back out to cover your deposit. As far as I know this is these are the only scenarios in which a previous acceptance to a college would be withdrawn. If your failing to make their deadlines for receiving information, this too could cause them to withdraw the acceptance since your not meeting the standards they've set for admission. I'd give the school a call and speak to an admissions counselor to maybe help you with some information about your particular situation, as well as possibly becoming someone who can help you navigate the schools systems and admissions departments. good luck.|||If you ask them to, they simply get rid of your application file.|||I answered this same questions earlier...|||OK, the answer to the second question first. Your college probably got your complete 1st semester grades because normally teachers have to submit grades just a few days after the semester. The answer to the first question is harder. I am not a college administrator so I don't know what the official policy is but colleges (after you have received an acceptance) don't suddenly drop your application. As long as you maintain good grades and don't have behavioral problems your fine.
