How long does WAMU take to verify a check deposited through ATM?

Just yesterday i tried to make it in time before my nearest WAMU branch closed to deposit my check but didn't make it......... Instead i used a deposit envelope to deposit through ATM..... How long does the bank usually take to verify the deposit before you can withdraw ?|||The cutoff time for ATM deposits is usually BEFORE the branches close. That means the deposit probably happened the next business day. Because yesterday was Friday, and Monday is Columbus day, the deposit will probably post on Tues, Oct 14. This would be true for ANY US bank. There should be a sign on the ATM showing the cutoff time for deposits to credit the same day. I don't know about WAMU, but 2:00pm is the normal ATM cutoff for my bank.|||hg
