When the time comes that your refund is deposited into your account, do you have to wait?

Once your refund has been deposited into your account, can you withdraw money then, or, do you have to wait additional time. Also, are you limited to the amount that you can get out at that time.|||If it's direct deposit u shouldn't have to wait. If it's a check u will have to wait in less u cash it. U should be able to get as much out as u want as long as u go to a branch and not an atm|||The other 2 answers are misinformed. BY LAW, direct deposits are ALWAYS available IMMEDIATELY.

|||It really depends on the regulation at your bank. Most direct deposits such as refunds are immediate access. And, it also depends on your bank of how much you can take out. You should not have a problem withdrawing in person but you may have limits at the ATM.|||If it's direct deposited or wired in your account it is yours usually, however banks have a right to hold funds over $5,000-10,000, depends on bank I think, but usually the federal government funds are available immediately. (So far anyway)
